The Maltby Lakes in Orange. Webb Mt park in Shelton (this one is tough, not for a long run). Sleeping Giant state park. Devils den in weston.

Nope, no sand hill in MA. The Subway in Barkhamsted was in a shopping center in between a theater and a laser tag place. Also was a liquor store and a tractor supply place in there with a KFC across the street. They did suprisingly well for being in such a small town.
Got you now. Yes, I know the spot, it's actually on the Winsted border so most of your clients would have been from there. Can't be more than a handful of people in all of Barkhamsted!!!
Wish I knew you were there, I could have hooked you up with a few more places to run. We live "up the street."
Good luck with the business.
Westwoods trails in Guilford and Branford landtrust Quarry trails are extensive. I run there 3-5 times a week. See you out there.
bump
Best place to run in storrs is the mansfield hollow state park. lots of good trails and a nice looking area.
Hey. I will be in Storrs next week, visiting my family. I am psyched about the trails that Mansfield has. I just checked out the town's website and am surprised at the amount of trails they have, nowadays. I see that Jay Okeefe is one of the employees of the Town of Mansfield. I recall that he was a hotshot runner back in the mid 70's along with a couple of other Okeefe's. I believe that each of them were state cross country champs.
Also, the Willimantic Athletic Club has a number of runs that they do. This is part of an email from the WAC:
We still have the Monday night runs at the upper parking lot (The one on the left side of the school) at 7pm.
Tuesday night family track meets at 6:15pm at the High school track.
Summer Track Classic 3200 meter track race on Wednesday Aug. 22nd at 6:30pm Windham High Track.
Saturday morning group runs (If you would like to participate, just email me and I will give you the location, as it changes from week to week)
See you guys on the roads/ trails.
yeah theres Wickham State park in manchester, and on the western side, there's all of Washington Depot which is beautiful and there's chatfield hollow on the shore. basically that's it.
sleeping giant state park is a bad place to run. its more of a hiking thing.

Anyone that runs in Wickham without being forced to must be on a tight leash.
Super BUmp
Anyone know anywhere closer to fairfield. I head over to waveny in New Cannan sometimes, but its a bit far and honestly not that big.
Thanks
