I am 34. Ever since about 27, I've started to believe I could alleviate the aging process.
Now I feel a little older. Still young in some ways. Older in others.
It sucks and I hate aging.
Has anyone here read Gregg Braden's books?

I haven't read Braden's books. I might check them out. It's not really a new concept. Deepak Chopra wrote some similar stuff.
I collaborated with a scientist on an antiaging book a few years ago. I could explain aging, but it would take a while. Basically, humans (and most other species) evolved to perform three primary functions as efficiently as possible: to grow to sexual maturity, to reproduce, and to survive long enough for their progeny to survive on their own. All other functions, such as longevity, was a byproduct.
We are still in the 1st generation of antiaging (testosterone, hGH injections, etc). Within twenty years we should be able to reverse aging to a significant degree. Within 40 years, it could be commonplace.
The 34-year-old OP could live well past 100 and remain healthy during those years, provided he takes care of himself until these coming breakthroughs become mainstream.
Will overpopulation become a problem?
Or is it more likely we’ll have massive wars that will wipe out millions? It certainly doesn’t seem like we’re becoming more peaceful.

What he/she said above and keep your weight at your minimum healthy weight. Caloric restriction has been tested on multiple species other than humans and increases longevity in all of them.

With the exception of not smoking, like many overweight, sedentary, stressed out typical middle-aged Americans are going to do those things. ?

So you're saying I can continue to booze it up. Nice!

I'm sorry, but any article that starts its discussion of aging by talking about how Adam lived for 930 years, and is serious about it, is not credible. Adam certainly did not exist (even most theologians don't believe in a literal Adam anymore), and no human in history has lived 930 years.

We actually are getting much more peaceful. The number of deaths due to war has been on a pretty steady decline since WW2.
Overpopulation will certainly be a problem, and it will be one of the main problems future humans have to solve.

LMFAO
It's inspiring that he's speaking about living longer.
The whole point of this thread was about living longer.
Braden is a good author and presents some interesting thoughts.
How's the movie coming along, Greg?
Life is great for me.
Always has been, always will be.
Shouldn't you be worried about your knee problems?
The way to do it is to always keep you body healthy and intact. No smoking or drinking. Don't do risky things like barrel down a mountain on a bicycle. at 40 mph. Aerobic exercise at least 50 minutes x 3 times a week. Once your body has a defect it starts going downhill. Most defects are totally preventable.

Apologies if you are not being sarcastic.
My tv project is fine and just where it needs to be.
I cannot tell what your tone is.
A few on here were obviously quite jealous about my tremendous tv script so they had to attack it.
If we could double life expectancy, that doesn't mean that we would look and feel 30 when we're 60. Our hair will still have greyed/thinned, our skin will still be wrinkly, etc.

Tell that to the guys in the " Jackass" trilogy.

I see signs my tv pilot is progressing every day.
I notice times that end in '7' because I make the correlation between a 747 jumbo jet and the fact I've written a pilot.
I was talking today with someone I know and happened to message this person twice at times ending in a 7.
They replied to me in a time also ending in a '7'.
I made no effort to message them at that specific time and nor did they to me.
It just happened that way.
Odds of all three of these messages being sent at this particular time are 1 in a thousand.
Here is a litmus test I employ: What is your capacity to exercise, while fasted, with minimal disruption of sleep, mood or overall health. An easy assessment of durability that I conduct on a daily and weekly basis.
