A couple of things, though.
Mild sugar shock following meals... get a minor "I wanna nap" feeling after lunch that had disappeared on lchf. I think I just need to eat a bit less.
Gas. I hadn't farted for several years. These days I feel I could heat a small Alaskan town.
On the upside, I sure am enjoying some former favorites. BREAD.
Weight has remained stable, but I need to control myself on portions and proportions. I could see myself losing control of the "mediterranean" focus on fruits and veggies and sliding back into primarily grains because they are so enticing. I've been fine with protein in a supporting role rather than as a star. Trying to be vigilant. I'd estimate may calories are 75% plant based... 15% plant fat (olive, coconut, avocado oil), and 10% protein, with most of that as seafood and poultry. No processed foods and no added sugar except when it can't be avoided.
Fruit has been lovely. And veggies as my primary carb is consistent with my primal past.
So, yeah, it's going OK, and I appreciate your asking. As usual, it's all experimental and subject to change...
Still not up to 10 pieces of fruit a day though. 2 bananas and 2 kiwis today... and half a tomato, if that counts...
