I know logic doesn't matter much here, but don't you think being 32, having a kid, taking a year off, and then suffering a stress fracture in her lower back, might have had something to do with that?
You’re seriously defending Radcliffe? The athlete with three abnormal blood values? The athlete who has ran minutes faster than doped Africans?
Well running minutes faster than doped Africans doesn't mean anything, and I'm not saying I think she was clean or passing judgement on her blood values. I'm called out when I use poor logic or exaggerate, and here's Casual Observer doing it x 10 yet again, but it's o.k. because he's arguing that EVERYBODY dopes.
When Nick Willis sets his pb (on the Monaco track dragged along by Kiprop's 3:26) at 31 that's proof that he was a doper (although he was forced to admit it would at least equally prove that he hadn't been doping earlier in his career).
When Paula Radcliffe falls off a cliff after having a kid and taking a year off at 32, then suffering a fractured back, it's proof she was doping.
Apparently she should have continued to dominate the marathon into her mid and late 30's, like clean Kipchoge.
Don't forget either that she only ran her first marathon in 2000, so assuming she was the GOAT at the marathon, her progression and decline don't seem out of the ordinary to me. Call her out for her blood values, and I'd say also for her association with Farah through her husband, but let's try to be reasonable.
The Kenyan world record holder for the half-marathon busted last week, and just before that another Kenyan who shares the same coach as Kipchoge. Kosgei runs a superhuman performance and it happens she's managed by the dirtiest agent in athletics. And yet this guy VIPAM claims she is clean and would run even faster if doping like Paula - to which Casual Observer quickly jumps in to agree.
This is the same doping apologist (VIPAM) who yesterday admitted that he thinks Kipchoge has been doping for 20 years, but it doesn't matter because everyone else is (and he gets turned on by the look of steel on Kipchoge's face).
