A little background: I’m a senior in hs.
prs:
17:14 5k (Senior year xc)
10:48 3200m (Junior yr indoor)
4:52 1600m (Junior yr indoor)
2:17 800m (Junior yr indoor
61 400m (yesterday)
I missed about 16 weeks of running after the xc season ended due to some injuries from a marathon. With only one day of running, I came back and ran a 10:52 3200m. I then missed another month because the pain came back, and opened my outdoor season with a 10:50 2 weeks ago. Since then I’ve only been running 2-3x per week due to my injury. I raced a 4:59 1600m in my first race, then a 5:00/10:56 double, then a 5:01. 3 days ago I went 4:54 and 11:23 (took it easy). Yesterday I went 4:55 on an anchor where I ran completely by myself, and later in the night I ran 3:31 for a 1200.
These next 2 weeks will be my first weeks of running above 10 miles since september.
Is it possible for me to run 4:45 in 2 weeks time?
