In respect to American's dominating the Tour, you primarily used the arguement that "four out of the top nine in the overall standings are American". Apparently blinded by ambiguity and/or total idiocy, one would understand the reason for this placement. Therefore, I used the Team Trial rebute to argue against your statement. By suddenly throwing in histroical facts about previous American Tour riders, you are introducing a totally separate arugement which, ironically, does not help your cause......
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, BLAHHHHH.....
.
Now I know you spent hours with your thesaurus looking up "big" words (anything more than one syallable is big for you I am sure) to try and make a point, but it looks like this Tour is PROVING ME AND MY ASSERTION ( THAT US CYCLISTS ARE A FORCE ) CORRECT, ASSWIPE.
*I defended my statement first with the early standings in this year's tour where US cyclists were doing well, and you didn't like that. Fine,...
*I then defended my assertion by displaying US cyclists' recent performances in the Tour and other big races, and you didn't like THAT.
So I guess I will have to BRING OUT THE BIG GUNS on your sad little self. Read it and weep you arrogant 'oh-I-feel-so-smart-because-I-come-to-a-running-site-and-claim-extensive-cycling-knowledge' tool:
Pos. No. Name Nat. Team Time Gap
1 001 ARMSTRONG, Lance USA DSC 55:58:17.000 00:00:00.000
2 057 RASMUSSEN, Mickael DEN RAB 55:59:58.000 00:01:41.000
3 021 BASSO, Ivan ITA CSC 56:01:03.000 00:02:46.000
4 011 ULLRICH, Jan GER TMO 56:02:51.000 00:04:34.000
5 164 LEIPHEIMER, Levi USA GST 56:03:02.000 00:04:45.000
6 066 LANDIS, Floyd USA PHO 56:03:20.000 00:05:03.000
THREE IN THE TOP SIX OVERALL! Any other nations doing as well that far at the top of the overall classifications? No, I didn't think so. And if go further down and get to Julich, it would be 4 in the top 16. And what if Tyler was screwed over with that test??? (sure, a big "if", but even WEJO thought the results were questionable, and wejo doesn't doubt any drug test results). Then the USA might have FOUR IN THE TOP SEVEN right now.
So, in short, you lose this argument, just like every European cyclist has lost to Lance for the last 7 years. They got used to losing, I guess you will too.
