They can always aspire to the smugness of Harvard.

Minorities are granted admission to schools despite having lesser qualifications. The system we have is what you get until affirmative action is abolished and the corrupt NCAA is dismantled.

If by minorities, you mean the 10% who make up more than 70% of the places in the most highly selective universities you are correct. And yet, in spite of all of the advantages they have given them already, we see these rich, white economic minorities trying to bend the rules even further in their favor to try and keep the numbers of racial minorities in single digits to protect their already firm grasp on the reins of power in society.

Whole full house/Hallmark channel actress involvement reminds me of the downfall of Nancy Kerrigan when she swore during some parade. No longer considered the sweet person next door. Except this is way way worse.
The Hollywood overreaction in triaging is astounding. Guess the fact that her husband is not 100% leftist liberal is the reason. Mossimo G. Giannulli, founder of the clothing company Mossimo, Inc., is married to actress Lori Loughlin. ... He supported Sen. Marco Rubio (RINO., Fla.) in 2016, and Romney (RINO, MA/UT)and John Boehner (RINO) before that. He has also donated to Democrats (D).
7:50 PM PT - Our intel is clear -- Lori's not coming back to "Fuller House." A well-placed production source tells TMZ, "Fuller House is not currently in production. Lori is a guest star and was during the previous 4 seasons and there are currently no plans for her to return to the 5th season." Translation ... she's gone from the show.
6:56 PM PT -- Hallmark has now addressed their show, "When Calls the Heart," which is now in the middle of airing its 6th season and stars Loughlin, saying, "The series will not air on Sunday, March 17. We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series."

Oh, the irony.

So you think it's correct that Hillary was *not* charged.
Great!! I agree.

You actually think that legally donating to a school to get preferential treatment for your kid who you are presenting with his/her real scores is the same as what went on here? Please.
Why was Lovable Lori Charged a quarter mill per kid 500g's total and other rich parents got the job done at a fraction of her fee? Is she really that dumb or is there more to the story. Also is USC one of these schools that only has Fall admission? If not, why not try to get in Spring semester or in the summer? And if her daughter was looking to party, why not go to another football factory? Any SEC, Big 11, Big 12, FSU, MIAMI, Notre Dame would do right?
Sounds like the girls didn't want to go to college anyways. Why not just let them do their own thing? Doesn't Lori know someone on the Bravo network that would have let her kids be on one of those reality shows for an episode or 2? Something doesn't Add up. Or maybe it's me.
This is those with money and privilege reaming us again. Like always.

L.A. is far more glamorous than Tuscaloosa or South Bend and is the center of the entertainment universe so kids who go to USC, especially hot young women, have access to way more big time parties, clubs, media, celebrities, etc than your average coed in the SEC or Big 10. Football has nothing to do with it, in fact SC’s football team has sucked for many years now. As just one example, Olivia Jade was up until yesterday partying with her classmates on a billionaire’s massive yacht in the Caribbean while SEC girls are drinking beer in Destin.

It didn't even get them their degrees. Total absolute waste of money.
Don't know why in the first place these parents would be sending especially their daughters into a literal Rape Culture that exists on these campuses. Isn't that some sort of child abuse?
A question which is often on private college/university applications which is not on public university applications: Please name relatives whom are alumni of Overly Priced Private U.
Listed are solutions:
1) Free tuition at all U.S. community colleges and public universities.
2) No Pell Grant.
3) No Student Loans.
4) No federal grants to private colleges/universities.
5) No state grants to private colleges/universities.
The cheating private colleges/private universities need to die.
Everyone has to have 4.1 GPA with a 34 ACT to get into Harvard. Rich kids with 2.5 GPA with 20 ACT seem to get in.
If public universities are free like K through 12, no need for grants or loans. As a society, we need to put these cheating private schools out of business.
Now we know who tipped off the Feds.

The students were all girls, just one boy.
What's the count?
That's the story.
That isn’t broadbrushing. The dictionary definition says that liberals reject traditional values. So by definition, everyone who cheats is a liberal. Everyone involved in this scandal is a liberal regardless of what they claim to be. It’s lije someone telling you that they didn’t cheat on you but you discover they did. They are by definition a cheater regardless of what they claim to be. I don’t like when people try to redefine words. They have meaning.
It's just about branding. The neither the kids, the parents, nor the schools cared one bit about if those kids learned one thing during their time in "college". Being admitted to the school is what it is all about.
Ask yourself, would you rather have the knowledge that comes a degree from Yale w/o the certificate, or the diploma to hang on the wall w/o having attended a class? The certificate is worth more.
Since it's almost all females, isn't the story nobody wants to talk about related to the fact that under Title IX. women's NCAA sports are a joke with many (most?) teams having multiple women who have no business being on a collegiate team (and often with a scholarship)? It was a lot easier sliding a non-athlete on a roster whose last several women had no business being on the team in the first place. Men's sports are much more competitive and generally don't have teams with multiple guys at the end of the bench who aren't NCAA caliber. At the end of the day, these non-athletes posing as fake athletes often took spots from "real" athletes who had no business being on an NCAA roster in the first place. It's not like any star recruits weren't recruited and accepted because of this.
