I was very aware of this and made a point to hardly ever mention working out. Brought it up maybe twice in the month we were going out...and it was always mentioning a funny story that happened at the gym.

No she's quite attractive but I think she just doesn't eat much. Otherwise I don't know how she stays thin.

People can be insecure about their bodies and don't want to feel like a tub of goo in relation to their partner. It's silly, but a devastating blow to the Red Pill Philosophy nonetheless. There is also the chance that you are boring and talk about exercising too much.

Wow, getting a lot of heat for mentioning 30 seconds of a daily part of my life over the course of 20 hours. And the one story I remember was when she had mentioned she was terrible at names. So I told her there was this worker at the gym I always talk to but we never introduced ourselves. So after a year of small talk we would always just say, "hey man, how's it going" cause neither of us knew the other's name. She thought it was funny.
