Not same day but Sean Wade ran 2:10 and Becky Wade ran a fast time as well. Not sure if they are married, though.

Oops. Right you are.
The Lindens ran Chicago in 2010, with Des running 2:26:20 and Ryan running 2:26:21.
Both finished 9th (2:13 and 2:33 ) in Houston

I think this is worth spelling out. 2:13:29 for Tyler and 2:33:42 for Katy. So a combined time of 4:47:13.
Look at Tyler Jermann Instagram post
They posted their race plan on the flight down on paper
Execution was near flawless by each mile
Katy ran last 5 miles at 5:40 or better in her debut
Once she learns the marathon she could put up some fantastic times.

At what point did Sean become an american citizen?
Brilliant.
Paula and Tom Radcliffe?
So is it certain than that the Jermann's are the fastest same day marathon couple in the United States?? Run at Houston in 2019?
The hall's hold the combined record of 2:22+2:04 = 4:46.
You guys are all wrong.
It’s the Ginger Runner and his wife.

Wait until this weekend at Houston. Tyler and Katy Jermann are both running the marathon. Tyler ran 2:16 there last year, Katy could be in the range of 2:32-2:35 maybe? (debut, half PR shows 1:12:58). So that would beat a 2:29 + 2:24 that you stated.
