In my experience, people that anonymously post on an internet message board to call people "shallow and insecure" because they choose to spend their money in a certain way are themselves shallow and insecure.
These same posters also call poor people lazy and uneducated. Some people don’t know to appreciate the finer things in life and that’s OK.
