I find it hard to believe UND is promoting the assistant throws coach to HC when they list all qualifications for a distance coach as a prerequisite to be the HC.

What are the throwing jobs coming open this summer? Have to be some rumors floating out there....

Doesn't "have to be" anything. No throws jobs opening this summer, unfortunately.
Romanticly linked. Ha ha! Prove it, your sources are straight garbage.
Its true. Ask Keystone why he really left.
Tell us if you got the info, then prove it.
Matt has had many issues in his career, I wouldn't be surprised about Keystone.

Because they’ve already replaced him.
He became involved with the person in question while said was an undergrad. It led to some conflict amongst the team and along with other things he was asked to leave keystone. To be noted he was married at the time with multiple children whom then moved with him to North Carolina for the mount job.
After some time his wife had enough of the situation and being so far from her family and moved them back east to where she was from. He stayed with the said individual whom was now his assistant coach at mount and now possibly Wingate.

Coach Jackie Kirby according to your "info". Why not just say it? That was a VERY specific description you gave. No other female on staff at Olive, no other staff member from Keystone.
I don’t believe that the previous poster was trying to avoid naming coach Kirby on purpose but was just trying to mention the underlying stories/rumors that have been surrounding them for years. Coach Matt has done a wonderful job at Olive so it’ll be interesting to see how it translates to Wingate.
Whom will he keep currently on staff or who will he bring with him from Olive?
Does anyone know why North Dakota is making a change and hiring a new track & field/xc coach? Mid year hire seems a little odd.
Um if you looked on their website, you would see they have two head coaches retiring...

...and it is not mid year. The are conducting their search to fill the position for next year (beginning in the fall of 2019).
Also also, University of North Dakota and North Dakota State are two different schools.
So Matt, does Kirby join you on staff at Wingate? Or is she the head coach in waiting at Mt Olive?
No one cares.

True no one cares though we all enjoy some good solicitous gossip...it’s the toilet ?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
