Ran 14:57 for the win. Couldn't find an all time list, but looking through past years results I was unable to find any other winner who had gone sub-15. If he did set the course record I heard no mention of it once during the broadcast. Still kudos to Anderson for a hell of a race
Did Liam Anderson set the NXN course record today?!

Yes. Previous record was 15:03.2 by Casey Clinger (American Fork, UT) in 2015.
NXN has only been at Glendoveer since 2014, so only five races so far. 2014 and especially 2016 ran a bit slower than the other years. -
This guy just looked so easy winning, ran with the lead pack just lurking the entire race, covered every move, kicks for the win and it was over. Course record. And didn't look tired as the others were toast. Third last year, Wins this year. Real deal.

Go Chico state

Stanford, but I hear ya.

Yep, course record and first guy to run under 15:00 on the course. Its worth noting that this is probably the first year of NXN at Glendoveer where the conditions were not ridiculously wet and muddy. Not taking away from Anderson, but the conditions lent themselves more to running fast than any year before,

Short course this year. Course was not dry but both races were faster.

No, it was a long course. Or maybe it was exactly the same as last year. And 2016. And 2015. And 2014. -

It's never been completely dry at Glendoveer. Course looked the same to me, so I doubt it was accidentally shortened. The guys setting up the course tend to do a decent job of paying attention to that kind of thing - it's their job and all, and this being a rather big stage... -
Bottom line, at NXN 2018 Liam was the best runner. Good dude, lots of class toward other runners.
