This is only partially related but do you think female runners have worse nerves than male runners? By that I mean coping with nerves before races.

i'm a college runner and read a few times a week - mainly to see what our mens' team posts about themselves, which is usually ridiculous. can't believe so many other women my age are reading out there! i'd say let's start sexually harassing the male readers, but they'd probably enjoy that.
Yes, absolutely, right on. You have just defined your normal American male.
Hey...you found the board at the perfect time studette!
How did you run into it at such an epic moment?
What kind of running/competitions do you do?
I live across the magic line that separates rain
from snow but love to come down to the US; especially
enjoying Eugene where recently competed in a street
mile night before the Pre.
Cheers and good luck in your running.
Q
I have one picture already on the web. It got me in trouble as my cooch was showing.

Any idea how many women view these posts ????
Women in general (this does NOT apply to all women) read message boards but don't post. Women are less likely to engage in heated debates than men, and this is perhaps a plus for them. So, women will read here but not post greatly. Just a fact that men are more aggressive than women and therefore like to angage in any kind of argument, whether it is physical or verbal more than women. Disagree with me if you like, but there are differences between men and women, and this is one. Women would rather stay above the fray.
Agreed will that MF ever shut up..?

Umm...dude this falls on deaf ears since I only post a few times each day these days. I hardly post enough to hope that "will that MF ever shut up".

Damn straight brother.
ALSO, I never act as an authority. I just give my opinion. It is obvious then that those who think I act as an authority believe I have the intelliect and writing skills to appear as one, and that since I appear to be one that I feel I MUST be one. You see, these people just complimented me without even knowing it.
I AM NOT AN AUTHORITY. I'M JUST A GUY WITH AN OPINION. LOOK TO OTHERS FOR YOUR HEROES. NO NEED TO WORSHIP ME!!!!
What did you do Flagpole WIlly that got a bunch of messages delted from this board?
my friend (male)... is addicted like its his job too! i like reading the threads and such too and i do post! and for demographics info.. i am 18 and just graduated from high school. i will be running D1 next year
What exactly are you smoking Momma?
That's interesting as I tend to get into a lot of arguments on other message boards, but then again I'm quite aggressive in certain ways and I do agree that most women aren't. It also seems less accepted to take track and field seriously if you're a woman, or be very competitive in nature. By that I mean from my experience and that of friends if you love track and field with all your soul you're more likely to be seen as weird.
Ooohhh - three or four
Post anorexia pictures and they will come...
What are you talking about? Who

I am trying to remember why I started reading in the first place...I think my boyfriend at the time told me about it, and also because I know JK and the Johnsons. But now I am pretty much addicted and seem to use letsrun as my primary news source. Sad.
Please, tell us more.
Don't knock the over-30's, or even over-40's for that matter, youngster.
...ah, sarah...Once again the voice of reason.

How's married life so far, by the way?
Nothing wrong with being 30+. Actually we don't have a choice, now that you mention it.
