What is the point of doubles, in your mind? Is it to increase mileage? Increase frequency? Some other reason?
Running doubles makes no sense to me if I go from running an hour a day in singles to 2 30 minute runs. Are you saying this is better?
Otherwise, your point is to increase mileage. But, to what extent? Is adding another 3 1/2 hours a week enough? How about 5 hours. Not enough, OK 7 hours? What' that, I'm still not giving 100%? Ok I'll add 10 additional hours a week. But I still have time for more...
