I've said it before, I've never really been religious, I even went through a ImSoSmart atheist phase, But as I've grown older, My beliefs have changed as I've been exposed to the reality of the world. We've seen evil and degeneracy almost daily in the news and in the culture being embraced - Nobody being truly held to account. I don't want to call myself a Christian exactly as I'd feel like I'm larping, I understand the ancient Pagan stuff too. Perhaps it's a form of Perrennial Philosophy that I've organically come to feel, I don't really know.
I'm well aware that it could also be wishful thinking or something, but I want there to be inescapable justice brought to those who cause harm and suffering to innocent people. You may have enough money to be untouchable, But the idea that doing evil has a price that nobody can escape is a comforting one. That a divine judge will hold you to account.
Some of the degenerating culture we see -As people have joked about, the symptoms look straight up demonic, sometimes literally with that trans-hellspawn image, where it's reading books to children with the horns and all.
I know it sounds crazy, but then there's the reality of when you become aware of subversion, You start to question what if spirituality and even God was subverted, But we were just born in that period, so it's all we've ever known?
It's all rather complicated and philosophical.
Does anyone understand what I mean though?
