Another week, another training thread.. what do you all do last week?
My week went like this:
Monday: first workout of the season + PM lifting
1.5 miles easy (jog to the hill)
6x1 minute hard up decent sized hill (roughly 5 :00-5:10 mile pace) w/ 3 minutes jogging recovery
8x30 seconds hard up the same hill slightly faster pace w/ 1:30 jogging recovery
Finish easy 1.5 mile back to start
Total miles 8.15
Tuesday: 7 miles easy/recovery @7:35 w/ my gf
Wednesday: workout
2 miles easy
6x30 seconds @4:50-4:55 w/ 30 sec jogging rest
8x1 minute @4:50-4:55 w/ 1 min jogging rest
Finish easy to 8 miles
Thursday: easy 5 miles @6:50 pace + lifting
Friday-Sunday: Off, went on vacation and was way too busy to get in a run.. used it as a recovery period w/ lots of walking/hiking.
Total miles: 28.. supposed to be 50 but it's alright just going to use it as a down week before the grind really starts
