I stay hungry Also don’t do well niggled up. There is a minimum amount of movement I need or I start to self destruct Hence the extr biking which niggled me up in another area.
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
And yes I stay thirsty always

Do not weaponize heavily salted cucumbers. Cucurbitaceae are a humble and peaceful gourd. After all, they may become an AJ staple post-Youston.

It’s starting to look like RRR is gonna have to make a stop at Brennans in Houston. I tried going to the dictionary to find some wiggle room (lawyah style) in the word steak and got ..
steak
stāk/Submit
noun
high-quality beef taken from the hindquarters of the animal, typically cut into thick slices that are cooked by broiling or frying.
I may need Bill Clinton to help me wiggle outta this one haha
Not that you'll need it, but:
RRR Great job in the race. May not be the finish you were looking for but you started out good and stopped before something serious happened.
There is slab of meat, rib-eye, sirloin, cutlet, schnitzel, fillet, slab, T-bone, Porter House and as coach Jeff says AJ's favorite Beefsteak.

I’ll go to the grave before I eat a non-pickled cucumber.

I know this has been discussed before, but I'm looking for a good book on proper running form. Thanks!
Running Rewired helped me a ton earlier this year with what proper motion should feel like instead of reducing it to "model form."

You are a wierd dude. Tomatoes cucumbers and onions w vinegar and oil .. is a revered southern staple?!
Being from bama and dipping doesn’t make a true southerner.

To be honest, I needed to check to see to whom this was directed. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that it would have been hard to find someone on this thread with respect to whom this could have been wrong.

True that. This is def a time that the kettle is calling the pot black.
But guarantee you won’t find a group of smarter guys. I read some of these posts and def feel dumb as a sack of hammers.
It’s not easy to do...and certainly it’s an improvement...but you shouldn’t be saying that was good pacing...2:46 is still too fast...you have to EARN the right to go out at a certain speed...If you were one of my athletes, I’d force you to go out in 3:00 and PROVE that you can run the second half of the 5K faster than the first. If you can do that, the second half pace becomes your opener in the next one.
Luckily i am in better hands. But thank you for your concern.

If I recall correctly, 5:32/mile is slower than what he averaged not long ago (after a jack-rabbit start). So 5:32 seems perfectly appropriate.
Starting at 6:00-pace and running a big negative split might be a very productive exercise, especially given past pacing challenges ... and also because he is returning from an injury. But not the best racing strategy today, as he was looking to be competitive. Just my take, for what it's worth.
It’s aight Allen. Some people now how to apply tough love like Bdubs did.
Some people like to kick someone when they down. And highlight the earn and prove.

Pewow - holy Moses. 9th grade? You look 35 in that pic. You pulled the epic RRR x 3 with that start. Good lord that's a pain train.
After some digging I found a picture from the start. I believe you that the half marathon aged me 20 years.
https://imgur.com/a/AWvmyMIBummer about the hamstring. Hopefully it isn't serious.
Here is my go to for hammy injuries. This has helped me a lot.

You’re a vegan from the ozarks. You ain’t southern.
I’m from the SW corner of the state an hour from lousinanne and an hour from Texas. I bet I have slayed and ate as much squirrel as your a** has caught and ate fish.
I still make an mean squirrel and dumplings when I’m back home for my old man. I’m not a vegan I just eat that way.
Not trying to kick you when you’re down. Injuries suck. But you’ll continue making these mistakes, even when healthy, if you don’t learn how to judge your fitness. Going out at 5:32 pace when you’ve been doing more biking than running lately is not the best strategy.
