No racing this year and what appears to be about 20% body fat. Is the king done?

I feel like he has been semi-retired since Rio 2016.
After getting the world record, Olympic champ, and world champ, what other strong motivating drive is there? I would retire too. There's really no point anymore, once you're pretty much established as the GOAT. It's not like LeBron James who's chasing more rings than Jordan. It's simply undisputed at rudisha is the 800m GOAT now.
Just like Webb, he’s been put out to STUD.

Because he's not established as the GOAT and he'll still only be 31 in Tokyo. He has the chance to be the first middle-distance runner to win three consecutive golds. Also, every year he continues, he probably earns about 100 x the average Kenyan person's wages. That would be a motivation enough for most Kenyans. Or maybe he is like Tim and just wants plant potatoes...
Rudisha is just smarter than Kiprop and quit before he got popped.
Broke the WR 3 times, only man under 1:41, ran 10 of the 20 fastest times all time, twice Diamond league Champion, twice Olympic champion, twice World Champion.
I'm not really sure there is anything else he needs to do. It would be amazing to see him return in 2020 at 31 years old and try to defend his Olympic title, but I don't see it happening, too much young talent on the scene now.

Who do you place above rudisha in 800m?

I d on't place anybody, but I don't think you can say categorically that he is the all time 800m GOAT, as Snell achieved very similar feats, and if he hadn't retired (in an age when it was almost impossible to support yourself as an international athlete for more than 5 years or so) would have been the favourite to win a third gold in Mexico.
If Rudisha were to win a third gold in Tokyo, of course he would be beyond question the GOAT.
Sorry to bring the doping question into it again, but when you consider that the other great Kenyan middle-distance star has just been popped and to all but a few hardcore apologists here Kenyan running is close to being discredited, I feel he does not have to put a rubber stamp on his career and win another gold. Not only to cement his all time GOAT status as a three time winner, but to retire just after Kiprop got busted and when the heat is obviously now on Kenyan athletes (at last) it would be very suspicious indeed.
Rudisha is the GOAT at 800m. He dominated in an era of unparalleled competition, winning countless races by sometimes huge margins. As I said he has run 10 of the 20 fastest times ever, including 6 of the top 8. 1:42 is a significantly difficult barrier and Rudisha has broken it 7 times.
Never before had someone run 1:43 and come last in an Olympic games and maybe never again.
Snell didn't quite have that level of domination over his competition.
You can't say Snell would have won in 68 and use that as a factor in discussion, we don't know that and he didn't retire on a high, he lost a lot in his final season.
Coevett is a racist idiot, just ignore him.
