Well there you have it. I’m not a big Kara fan but going through a divorce is tough. Not sure if that’s true or not but I hope the best for her.
I gotta say must be tough for elites when they know it’s time to retire but they are so use to running dominating there whole life.
Their not there. Where are my specs?
If divorce, did Adam find out Kara was actually doping on her own and enough was enough?
I thought retirement, divorce, or fertility but does someone really have to wait until those 'resolve' in a month to discus them publicly. Then the part where they clarified it didn't have to do with 'on the course' running made me think it has to do with the doping investigation and possibly her or her husband's more direct involvement than has been made public in the past.
Many US elites hit their athletic retirement along with the realization that they do not have employment skills or the money to live another 40-50 years. Even with a degree, not too many employers in today's world will consider someone in their mid 30's - early 40's with no work experience. There are only so many shoe company marketing jobs and junior product developer gigs and those are shrinking commodity.
This sport has a lot of Peter Pan types that get hit hard when adulting is forced on them.

Not good improvement from Goucher.
She ran 1:18 at Virginia Beach in April.
She just ran 1:18 again at Grandmas's in June.
She has stagnated. Maybe she has a #MeToo story with Magness coming out.
I don't have any opinion on all of this other nonsense and drama, and am neither fan nor hater of Kara Goucher. But you might as well know that she will be 40 in less than a month, and has been at this sport since HS. So, yes, at age 40 she is 'stagnating' as pretty much every former elite athlete has ever done. That's the aging process.

The Goucher's are going through a divorce.
That is false.
She could easily make a living appearing at marathon expos.
Oh man you really got me shoot dang, you sure changed my oil!

Probably a divorce. I thought she was done running pro a long time ago. Nothing to take away many years she was on top, she just needs to step aside.
Agreed. The way she put it, sound like either a split with Adam, or she’s pending confirmation or not of something major, health related, or related to her parents or any close loved one. I don’t think it has anything to do with the Alberto NOP situation. I wish her luck.
That Goodr deal should bring her back
mr. correction,
do u actually feel good about yourself after posting your grammarian huff?
itt was so unecessary.
I liked the provocatively nature of what the guy wuz saying.
just sayin’
If she is soon to be single, any chance Cupid could put her together with our man Jamin? Even for a sympathy lay (from Kara’s standpoint) would be nice.
Although she’s 40 and still hot, I doubt Jamin would know what to do with those two lower options.

I don't like what people here are saying at all. Extremely poor taste to say such things about someone's family.
On the other hand, the quote was worded it to bring speculation and committed the mistake of adding a timeline. Why commit yourself to that if this is about something out of your control.
Any running fan or KG fan reading that article will be "what is going on?!?!". This is what statements like that create. But I'm not holding my breath. Based on past results, a month from now, there will be no public statement.

She and Adam just finished testifying against Alberto and Dr. Brown in Houston last week.
Some idiots want clean sport but also hold those willing to testify against Alberto as too guilty to help clean things up. Kara was a victim and is stepping forward to say so in court. She is a hero.
Anonymity sucks. If I told you who I am you would know it's the truth.
Adam and Kara were both testifying. They came and left together. The divorce theory is ridiculous.

Hey Steve!
1)No one is making you be anonymous. IF you want to post your name, feel free. If you are on to something, that would be amazing to have the whole Dr. Brown stuff done with one way or the other.
2) The divorce talk is absurd. I may delete it all. Do people not actually read the article? She specifically said everyone is fine in her family.
The tribal elders want to ruin Rupp and Salazar, really any Western/European individuals who are successful. They are using the Gouchers. Why? It would be a long story. The hell with the no-integrity Gouchers. Go Rupp.
