University of South Dakota. Small school, easy to get into, good facilities, and very inexpensive. Plus they have the medical school at USD.
There are piles of smaller schools in the Midwest that could set you up well for med school without needing a 4.0 from HS. Mount Union, John Carroll, and Otterbein are decent running schools. If you can match your ACT with a good SAT, you would have ok odds of getting in despite the low GPA. Another option to consider is starting out at a smaller state school and transferring to a top state school if you can get straight As. In state tuition is a good thing especially if you are looking at med school.
