Yet some still wonder why we all don't bow down to Rupp or Salazar.

Indeed.
Why the fvck would you not announce competing in a race?
Why the fvck would Nike even give them money, conducting things this way?
They will announce it dude, calm down.
What a clusterfluck! Back to square one where nobody has any clue if Rupp may or may not be doing Prague. Bizarro.
The only thing bizarre here is every one anxiously awaiting an announcement and fretting over whether he runs or not hahahaha. But I guess he is the only American marathoner that anyone cares about, literally - love him or hate him.
At this point I say he's not running. Oregon Project would've made the announcement by now - but who knows really.

Meaning Ken Goe would have written it up. But, about Rupp he has posted nothing since Boston. Ergo, Rupp is not running Prague.

Good point. Salazar and NOP are friendly with Goe. Further evidence that he is NOT running.

I would have never assumed Rupp was running this race until his people make an announcement. Someone accidentally discovered his name on the registration list which shows that he's thinking about it.
Is there any way to know how long his name was on the list for this race? (could it have been there even longer than two weeks?)
Would be interesting to know if NOP just keeps a backup race or two booked as standard protocol "just in case" something crazy happens, like there's a disaster and Boston is canceled or whatever. I feel like that is not beyond the realm of Salazar-level preparation. Just that this time a LRCer found it and posted it before it could be withdrawn.
Gotcha again suckers, 171 posts just on this thread, you LR losers are so easy to troll. Hahahahahahahaha.
Regards,
Galen.

Just wanted to post a quick update:
We are aware that Rupp's name no longer shows up on the list of runners on the race website.
I emailed the Prague Marathon organizers yesterday (when he was on the list of runners). I asked them if they could confirm that Rupp is running the race. This is what they said.
"yes, that is right. He´s going to participate."
So I published our story.
Since the story has been published, Rupp's name no longer appears on the list of runners. I have emailed the organizers again to ask if he is still running and also left a message for Rupp's agent Ricky Simms. Neither of them have responded to me at this point.
Galen and compadre Alberto showing another hard effort on being disliked even more. Pendejos.

So the NFL fans show up to the stadium, and find out that the game that was on the web site with that date was not actually going to happen? That would be okay?
It's official now, I really do hate Galen Rupp. Aside from his pathetic marathon times, he's a flake.

Yeah no one cares about Flanagan or Linden.
Sexist?

The "game" is still happening, your favorite player just isn't starting.

Yeah no one cares about Flanagan or Linden.
Sexist?
People care about them, but no one gets attention (both positive and negative) like Galen.

Exactly. NO ONE moves the needle like Galen. If he retired tomorrow the sport would become insanely boring...
And,
Jonathan Gault proves himself irrelevant.

So Galen and crew may have changed their mind or are going to make a more formal announcement and you're blaming Jon for CONFIRMING with the race that Galen was going to run it?
When I typed Rupp's name into the entry search box, it showed up. Now it doesnt. What a shame.
Wejo reacting to trolling, don't tell me you're on the drink like your brother. :(
