Alberto must not have had Jordan’s dosages dialed in and feared a positive test. This conjures memories of Treniere Moser’s suspicious DNS at Moscow 2013.
Get a new line.
Get a life.

Boston weather Not Hasay Certified. They needed an excuse and thus blamed injury. Think about it, she's 100% fine during interviews a day ago. NOP believe weather may be to Rupp's advantage but Hasay too small and weak to deal with wind resistance and adverse weather. Not worth wasting an effort to have her blown away with the wind.
The wind and weather is easier to deal with when you're small.

Bone scans 'light up' at a stress reaction....
MR scans do not light up.
She is a little hurt, the weather is going to be a major factor and she's going to go somewhere and run fast real soon.
She is not disrespecting the race, she has represented herself well; starting the race and getting a portion of your appearance fee would have been disrespectful (and the first 7 miles of the course are a rough roller coaster).
She did the right thing.
Live to fight another day.
Excuse me. They are brighter/ more light on T2 images. Bone scans are actually black / darker at stress reactions.
Was just going to mention this. The amount of disinformation generated by this site is staggering- over multiple subject matters.

Not Hasay Certified!!! I'd like to change the title thread title. I need to find the thread from World half where a guy said she would pull out of Boston. Nailed it.
Yes, the guy who originally said she was pulling out of the World Half (and no one believed him) also came back and said that he had heard she was planning on scratching from Boston right before the race, Thursday I think was the date he gave. So a couple days late but still correct outcome. Thanks for the gossip, anonymous guy! Please keep it coming!
What about that incredible workout she posted a couple weeks ago. Real or BS?

You really think she planned ahead to drop out the day before?
Yea! Lay out at the beach in Malibu!
workout was real. confirmed by multple sources.
Lies, all of it. Just the other day she was stating how she runs a marathon every week, and she was at the press conference looking confident and ready to go. Now this?
Not buying it, not buying it at all. And why the hell are you doing a MRI during race weekend? No one does that, and has that ever been done before?
It's clear cut NOP bullcrap. I think they pulled her because she knew that she was going to be able to win, so it would be better to do London, and be the standout American girl by running sub 2:20! Because Mary is going to go out at a death pace with male pacers.
Or PEDs were still in the system, and she would have failed her after race drug test.

No male pacers. Separate starts. Idiot.

It's a meme. I had no idea what it meant. But here you go:
http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/crying-michael-jordanI don't think Jordan would think too much of it either way. Might think it's stupid.
I thought it had something to do with North Carolina losing the NCAA Championship game a few years back.
Looks like it's an all male panel.
Lost her Vaporflys.
YES 100% PLANNED FOR A MONTH.
When she pulled out of the World Half she knew that it was bad enough that she would not be able to run Boston. The Nike PR train got to work in a hurry and said the hype surrounding Boston will be too great to ignore. They decided to suck you guys all in with the stories of how well she was doing and how ready she was for Boston. IT WAS WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR SO YOU BOUGHT IT. NOP never shares individual workouts. Everything is done in secret. But they shared a great workout (that never happened) a couple weeks out.
Jordan will not receive her John Hancock appearance fee. It will be rolled over into 2019. However, Nike will pay it. They told her this a month ago as long as they received all of the pre race publicity.
Do you think that her name will be mentioned during the broadcast? Yes because of the last minute pull out.
Do you think Ritz will be mentioned? No way because he pulled out when he was hurt and didn't play the charade.
Nike got you all. They took an athlete that has been hurt for a month and got a ton of publicity out of it.

No way she had an MRI in Boston. My guess is she went and it got bad up in Boston. Add the weather and they decided to wait to race. She was likely paid a good amount to show up and do interviews along with SWORD and other sponsors. Sure she is angry not to be 100% but losing to the 3 other Americans would be worse.
Honestly, she doesn’t look as skeletal as she previously appeared. Guessing she isn’t as fit and has missed training.
By withdrawing, she gets nothing.
Wrong.
She gets nothing from John Hancock.

How so?
I like the way Rojo is selectively deleting comments (deleted two of mine related to journalism characteristics and stress reactions, and one that I replied to) - but leaving some of the more "milder" negative comments to make it look like he's not censoring anything.
I'll try re-posting the comment that Rojo deleted:
Athletes - even college athletes - travel with trainers, DR, etc. Why shouldn't runners???
1: She felt fine. The MRI revealed a stress reaction. It's great she is thinking LT and decided NOT to run!
2: It's hilarious that you think she owes you an explanation.
