From IRunFar(dot)Com's "This Week in Running" Recap
"Horse Butte 10 Mile
The Bend, Oregon speedsters came out for their local trail race and all-stars Camelia Mayfield and Max King, the latter while wearing jorts, triumphed in 1:04 and 55:46."
Maybe we should change the thread title to "Technical Fabrics Go Home DEVASTATED!!!"
Here's the pic:

YES FINALLY THE JORTS ARE VINDICATED!!!! JORTS HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES AS THE ULTIMATE MULTIPURPOSE LOWER BODY CLOTHING ITEM, THEY ARE STYLISH....AND FUNCTIONAL!!! #JORTSNATION

More notable that he had a collared dress shirt on.
-
Even more notable is that he's holding onto a straw hat. I ran in straw hat a few times a long time ago. It really needed the under chin cord tied to stay on.
-
He is the King for a reason
-
Can’t overlook the belt buckle.

Basically, from what I am seeing in the replies, is that this may be the greatest running outfit in history.
-
Too much Win in that outfit..except are those Vaporflys on his feet? If so...Cheating!

If not, what has been better? -
I saw a guy wearing a suit and tie and carrying a briefcase finish the Bolder Boulder. That's not a particularly creative or "crazy" outfit, but for some reason it cracked me up. He was in character, too. Not hamming it up or anything. Businesslike. Late to a meeting that happened to be 6.2 miles away.

Perfect if he kept checking his watch and sending off e-mails on his phone -

You are right....they look just like a variant of the vapor fly without a swoosh lol -
That is 100% the salomon s lab. They've been making that colorway for years now but when people see it they think vaporfly.

Max King is a stud.
However according to the letsrun community because he wins races over 26.2 miles he is actually a walker. -

I should state that I strongly disagree with the assumption of LRC ultra community that all Ultrarunners are walkers.
I just thought it was ironic that we are praising Max MF Kings performance (which of course is amazing) but on another thread people are arguing you are not a real runner if you are not running on the track or pavement.
Mr Kings PRs, longevity, and consistency certainly speaks for themself! -
Who are you talking to?

They aren’t the same people. Duh.
