I think OP makes a good point. I get that this was True's first half but he's a smart runner and made a decision to let Ritz do the work during the race just like Rupp made a decision to sit during the first few miles in Rome. It's similar enough that we should have the same critique of them both. OR we can just be happy about people running good times and people running to win.
