3. malmo (1927)
4. Runningart2004 (1696)

Not surprisingly, this correlates with the year I was running the least due to injury.

My sentiments exactly.
If we generated the list by IP Address not poster name what would we see?

A lot more posts when Million Dollar Babe was regularly using the same computer.
Good stuff, B. Two requests, one probably a lot easier than the other:
-Can you identify the top 10 most posted images - either per year or ever? I'll guess the Rupp posing/pointing picture is up there. Maybe a Frerichs/Coburn celebration is high up on the list from last year
-Can you index all the posts and create a search engine for the forums that doesn't suck ass?
I thought Mr. Chest would have been up there in the early years, that cat was a hoot

As was the guy who made the stilted-language posts praising Makhloufi as "The Algerian Lion" or somesuch.

Your first request would be similar to calculating the most commonly used words on this site and its difficult to do. Basically you have to index all of the images that have ever been linked to and then from there check from each post how many times any of those phrases / links / etc appear. I may consider going down this route eventually but its not simple
For indexing posts I couldn't support such a system as that would cost a good bit of money to host something like that and then to have the computational power to support quick searches
Lol...
that is awesome.
Thank you for making my dreams become reality.
Good question. And how many times was discus used because the discus throw was actually being discussed?

I hear there is a new startup called Google that recently created a way to index a web of pages. I think they are calling it a search engine or something like that. Give it a try, it may be the next big thing.
Or you can try Hadoop. The space to store all the text of LRC would be small compared to a single hard drive these days. You should be able to easily process it all. Heck, putting it in any traditional sql server should let you do the same thing.
What about deleted threads and posts? There have been a lot of deletings going on this year.

Don't you mean the dicuss throw?
If there was only a way to measure the comprehension on this site.
