Editor's note: We have taken over a thread started by "moose lake" entitled, "Gwen Jorgensen nearly catches Infeld, runs 15:15:64" where he or she wrote "Gave birth 6 months ago, first race during her transformation to full time running. Also beats her outdoor PR by 37 seconds. I'd say that's pretty damn good."
We agree with Mr. Lake, it's a damn good time. So good that we wanted people to try to guess her time without knowing it.
Olympic triathlon champ Gwen Jorgensen makes her BTC debut and runs 5k - guess her time

Wow, that's impressive.
-
oops.....gave it away
-
Wow! Originally I was thinking 1530 or so and then I was thinking that was best case scenario and thought she probably faded to over 16 minutes. Her Olympic team chances just ratcheted up.
-
Not a good race from Harvard transfer Judy Pendegrast now at Oregon.

It’s a great time for a post pregnancy race!
I predict Huddle, Jorgensen and Hasay for team 2020. And Jorgensen will crush Hasay in 2019/2020. -
she was destroyed by the weapon of PWD, how is smith doing?
-
Wow! The ability is definitely there :) :) :)
Sub 14:45 outdoor peak race this season. -
Impressive time, is she doing a marathon this spring?
-
She’s looking good for the 2020 team wrote:

I really doubt she'd do a marathon this year. CIM would be a possibility as it's the US champs and will be watered down, but she wouldn't be getting the $$$. Now that I say that, NYC seems like her best bet if she did run one this fall. -

she runs 15:15 and suddenly you think she's gonna be the #2 US all-time?
Infeld has a 14:54 PR and ran 15:15i. Haven't seen the video but not sure how the race played out. -
Did Emily have a baby?
-
Very impressive to give Infeld a tough race and run 15:15. She is legit. Now it looks like she would have a shot at the U.S. team if there were a major outdoor championship this year.
-
Hasay????? Jordan is not a contenda under marathon distance.
-
Wow, great time. Has to be a record for having a kid on the test. Seriously impressive. Not a troll.
-
Holy sh-t wow. And gave birth only 6 months ago?
-
I thought she was targeting the marathon - is she too fast twitch for that?
-
Was Frerichs only in the race as a pacer?
-
That's 5x1000 in 3:03 with no rest. How long until the douc*ebag crew calls for less rest to be a reliable predictor?
