I've known him since he was 13. His dad really thinks the 400h would be his best event. I'd love to see him give it a shot, but it's got to be hard to shift his focus away from the 110s when he is running away from gold medalists. Besides Ashton Eaton, I can't think of someone recently who was world class in 4 very different events at the same time (110h, LJ, 400, 400h).
If he doesn't win the Bowerman going away, it will be the biggest travesty since Ches didn't get it.
