Yes, I remember the same comments about Korir's performance last year. People were very unimpressed with it. Saying a whole bunch of negative things (for some reason).
Then Korir ran 1:43.10 last summer (the world leading time). Pretty good for an NCAA runner. Massive progression.
Now the same coach has a guy who is even faster in his hands.
I never said he isn't a good runner. It's a great time and a good run. I'm sure he is 1:43/1:44 material. If not faster.
The point I'm making is where is Rudisha, where is Bosse on that 600m indoor list? It has not been attacked by the big names over the years and so is weak. The WR should be in the 1:13.5 region.
I don't remember Korir doing that well against the big boys when it mattered neither.
Your last statement event says it all. You're very poorly educated regarding Korir and his 2017- likely athletics in general. Why comment when you are that way? A win at Monaco (over Bosse, Tuka, McBride) and the Kenyan Trials isn't "big boy" enough for you? Your know it all attitude with evidence to the contrary will make you an optimal poster here at Letsrun. Welcome.
