Bill Platts of Idaho has several masters age group world records. He just turned 90 and looks more like 70 years old. He told me Thursday that he has thrown 30’ over the current 90-94 javelin record and within a few inches of the shot put record, all in practice. Beyond his throwing expertise he holds the 85-89 age group record American record for the long jump.
