Whole story is infuriating. They also say a trainee was up front with him. WTF!?! You're training someone on a new route first time with passengers. Let's hope we get answers. Since it looks like Penn all over again, I'm never ever riding the train. Not to mention most people that take the Cascades this time of year get stuck or delayed because of landslides.

Trump (USA) is already exploiting this to push his infrastructure regime.
“The train accident that just occurred in DuPont, WA shows more than ever why our soon to be submitted infrastructure plan must be approved quickly,” Trump tweeted. “Seven trillion dollars spent in the Middle East while our roads, bridges, tunnels, railways (and more) crumble! Not for long!”
As usual, Trump is ALWAYS wrong. He's talking about wasting money in the Middle East, yet he wants to increase military spending 60%. He has no clue what he's doing and honestly should be fired. Forget impeachment, he should just be fired for being incompetent.

I think H just froze over. I agree with Trump.
I don't get why infrastructure wasn't Trump's first order of business as president. It would have gotten bipartisan support and really done the country good. Basically EVERYONE agrees, our infrastructure is crumbling. I am glad he is finally getting to it, but this should have been done on his first day in office.
It was an easy win for Trump -- infrastructure spending -- but he's just plain dumb. He won the presidency by lying to his deplorables (along with the support of a smaller percentage who just wanted to watch it all burn), but he's been snatching defeat from the jaws of victory ever since.
Trump was totally right. Part of infrastructure spending should be immediate implementation of positive train control systems. That would have avoided accidents exactly like this one.
What could I do with 1.5 trillion dollars borrowed against the people of the United States?
a) Invest in infrastructure
b) Give me and my fellow billionaires a tax cut whilst gutting healthcare and social security
Yet another train wreck.
How many is that since Trump (USA) took over the government?
