I think he ran the Merrie Mile
Yeah he did... I was just surprised he and Leer were running the marathon as well and wondered why. It looks like neither of them finished either, so they were probably just running some of it for fun... I'm surprised Willis didn't finish though because he made it through 40k, fairly good time too.
You know it's so easy to do, to get caught up in all of the warmth of hospitality given to the runners in Hawaii.
They'll have stories to tell at the Outrigger Canoe Club tonight.

Oh my such wonderful memories boogling my mind...how I wish I was there to ace it...not going to happen. Home here in deep snow...time to go out with the snowshoes...with my three puppies..off I go!!
I wonder if I could race the mile THERE!!!
Can youn hear me now!!?? LOL!
How much snow did you get? What state?
And thanks for all of the updates along throughout the race (insert thumbs up)
You're welcome! Ah (sigh) what wonderful memories for the family. As a family we've been there many times. (not enough...LOL) I'm short of living there. However, I do love New England and the snow...and Boston...
We were there for TvToni's wedding.
We got around 6+ inches of wet heavy snow. Shoveled twice. Nice , though. Build muscles!!! LOL ARNOLD!!
You probably got two more inches than we did. But we shovelled once more than you. Could you see yourself running Honolulu again, or really any marathon?
;)
Is Honolulu timed gun to gun or chip, and what is the elevation gain?
