I'd say Rupp will run Boston, hungry for the win. He'll wait until Boylston St. to kick if that's what he needs for the win. Depends on the field.
Rupp is tough as nails and won't be dropped. I scoff at those who say he's afraid. Maybe he was outkicked in the Olympic 10,000, and in the WC in '13 and '15, but he was not dropped. Why? He believes, he is one badazz hombre, he can hang.
Also, let's realize Galen works for Nike. Does he decide where he runs next, or does the company tell him where he is racing? Honestly I don't know. But they may prefer he goes for the win in Boston, while other athletes wearing their shoes will duke it out in London.
