New Colorway just released for snova boost. At least another 6months out for new model
Same with Boston 6
What's wrong with pairing snova boost with adios?

THE ONLY GOOD SHOE YOU HAD WHY'D YOU TAKE IT AWAY GODDAMNIT
Supernova is a bad design. Switch to the OnCloud Shoe .
The Boston Boost 6 should be discontinued . .... not a good seller.
So what type of training do you use the Ultra Boosts for?
Any difference for the Ultra Boost St?
I was going to buy some cheap yesterday but wasn't so sure what I'd use them for.
I use them for everything since the Glide is no longer. They are soft but very flexible. I feel they ride similar to the Glide but others may argue.
The ST is a stability shoe. If you wore the Glide your neutral and don’t want the ST.
bump it up to remind everyone how adidas killed practically the best shoe ever
What's wrong with the latest supernova? Many runners rate it as one of the best shoes on the market.
There's nothing wrong, it's just a different type of shoe. While the Glide 8 was Adidas equivalent of the Pegasus, the new Supernova would be more like the Vomero.
I wonder if any of the Glide fans have replaced it with the Energy Boost. It's heavier, but it may be the closest current Adidas model in terms of intended use.
For me, the Mizuno Wave Rider is an improvement over the Glide 8 in every aspect. You guys should check it out.
Worthy substitutes:
Nike Pegasus 34, a nice true to size fit with medial forefoot side not tapering too much once past 50miles the zoom pods soften and shoe overall turns responsive yet conformable.
Adios Boost 3. I know a racing flat but the fit (enough space) and ride/response with boost consistency give it a nod as being a long tempo workout shoe yet just as fast as a lighter option(Brooks Hyperion)
Skechers gorun ride 7 hopefully get to try this out soon
Some people say the Boston 6 would be a close substitute to the Glide 8. I don't know... The Boston fits snug and the forefoot feels firmer.
I like the fit of the Boston better. The Glide was definitely more forgiving, but the Boston seems like enough shoe for daily training.
Don't you guys like the Saucony Ride?
I prefer the Supernova to the Glide 8. The Supernova upper fits comfortably, whereas the Glide 8 pinched my foot and made it painful to run. (I still put 700+ miles on them, though.) The extra cushion of the Supernova feels good, but I only use it on easy days (usually 4:50-4:00/km).
Easy: Supernova/Glide 8/PureBoost DPR
Long run: Boston
Tempo or marathon: adios
Adidas. Bring back that racing flat which had vent-hole mesh in the forefoot SOLE. Omg. New Year’s stormy road race, had snow slush oozing betwix my nonfunctional toes. Yes!
Adidas clothes are great but their running traniners ( except spikes) have always been gimmicky garbage. I started with SL 72's (in 1974) but they were soon eclipsed. The Marathons in the 70's were OK but once Nike got into their stride Adi were simply clown shoes for decades. They are a bit better now, but still there's much better out there.
No, just no!
Their clothes are the worst! Only NB has uglier clothes.
So, the Supernova Glide has been my default running shoe for any non-workout (both normal, recovery, and long runs) for years. I'm keeping my worn-out Glide 8s because I'm sentimental, but don't run in them any more.
I've since tried a couple of different shoes and brands and settled on a mixture of the Altra Escalante and the Hoka Clifton (the Saucony Freedom ISO before them). The Cliftons are nice and plush, and the Escalante is the only shoe that does "Boost" better than Adidas - they're incredible!
(Worth mentioning: I tried the new Nike React for three different runs because they were marketed as plush and responsive - but I am super disappointed with them. The upper is nice, but Nike's foam is terrible. Feels super cheap and is not half as responsive as the foam in the Escalante or any Adidas Boost model.)

Easy: Supernova/Glide 8/PureBoost DPR

Is this the first person to mention the pureboost DPR? I haven't tried them, but would these be a suitable substitute between the Boston and Supernova?

I was hoping it would be, but it’s a little too soft for my liking. It’s a pretty good option if you can get only one shoe. I run in them on a crushed limestone path for easy days/mileage, but I prefer the Supernova for standard everyday road miles. The DPR can fill in as a great option for shakeouts if you want to work the feet and lower legs a little more than you might otherwise. In short, it’s a decent shoe that could be great with some refinement to the upper/tongue and a firmer more responsive ride. If adidas could make it what the Saucony Ride is, a neutral do-it-all shoe, they’d have a winner. It’s worth picking up on sale, but I’d pass at $150 a pop. I have around 450 miles on mine, and they seem to be holding up fine.
I can second that. DPR is a bit soft to my like and I only use it for recoveries. You can get them on sale for ~80 bucks. Also for my slightly wider than average feet, they run big, I wish I got it half size down from my Glide size (or a full size down from my Boston size)...:/
