Northwest Christian University (Eugene, OR) is pretty decent. It sounds like you want a Protestant school (which they are), and they are ranked in NAIA. Other good Protestant schools are Corban U (couple of fast top guys), Northwest University (same story).

OK - serious question. Do you consider "religious schools" to only be fundamentalist based like Liberty?
No. There's a VERY wide spectrum of "religious schools."
You have Jesuit/Catholic schools (for the most part) on the very liberal end, who have religious heritage, maybe some required religious classes, and opportunities to exercise your faith.
You then have a lot of traditional Protestant schools that would seem to the outsider as "extreme" but are pretty balanced in this spectrum. They have direct church ties, required classes and some required participation, but a mixture of rules and overall "conservative" environment.
Then you have very conservative schools (like Liberty) that have all the same as above, but with much tighter rules: zero alcohol, zero dancing, no same-sex dorms, limited or no "floor hours" where the opposite sex can be in another dorm, etc etc.
Lastly, you have Bible colleges that are essentially religious prisons (mentally and spiritually speaking) that take all that too the max.

I believe that Catholics are Christians, but there are obviously doctrinal differences, and I am on the other side of Catholics in that regard. Nothing against Catholics, but when I attend a college I would like to have most, if not all, of the same doctrinal thinking of the college.
Mormons are christians too.

This is not even wrong. Georgetown is a Catholic school, started by Jesuits.
Swarthmore is a Quaker school. So is Whittier College.
Sorry, was thinking of George Washington University.
George Washington isn't a quaker school either.

I think you meant to say you were thinking of George Fox University, in Newburg, Oregon.
https://www.georgefox.edu/If you don't like that, here's a list of your other options for Quaker schools:
https://quakerfahe.com/quaker-colleges-universities-and-study-centers/In reality, there's really not a good program out there that's also high quality Christian school.
Azusa Pacific: good distance coach, moderate education, poor Biblical education. New track coach, former coach switched schools recently.
Biola: poor program. Track facility is more of a hobby jogger place (3 lanes, 380m). Good Biblical teaching. Other programs (education, business, etc) are moderate, and have a conservative Biblical base.
Pt Loma: do they still have a team? Pretty sure it's done.
OP: have you considered going to a secular school with a Christian coach?
your best options for a Christian university with decent running are; Liberty (division 1), Lee-University ranked 16th (division 2), and Calvin (division 3) ranked 15th. The best choice out of these schools is Calvin.

But Jesus started the Catholic religion. That's why so many churches are named after the disciples (St. James, St. Peter, St. Mark, etc.).
Exactly, the founding of the Catholic Church is described in the New Testament and predates the recording of the Gospels.
