Wow talk about post- London fatigue. Coburn and Frerichs got dropped so hard in the 3000 when the leaders started running.
Rowbury still in lead pack but Coburna and Frerichs are almost a full straight back with 400 to go it looks from TV.
Hassan kicks by for win and Klosterhalfen goes sub 8:30 for 2nd ahead of Obiri. What a run by her.
Obiri faded!
Hassan wins and very impressive for Klosterhalfen to get second.
Times for the Americans?
Rabbit was worthless... Steeplechase soft event or just fatigue? Klosterhalfen great run!
W3000M exposes how weak the W 3000m SC talent pool really is.. Coburn is not a great runner ,just a great steepler. She can't hang with any of these girls and there is no Ayana or Dibaba in the field or any of the other Kenyans.
Sucks that these girls make these decisions. Coburn/Frerickhs are no better than that NCAA girl at Missouri. Just exposed a fraud fitness.

BBC only showed the top 8 finishers.. no Americans

Interested to see if Klosterhalfen is done for the season or if she'll end up in top 5 in a loaded and fast race, running a new PB.
Wow!! You got an emphatic answer!
Or you know, they left it all out there in the championship race last week...

So what happende to Klosterhalfen in London. Did she also contract noro?
RIP to steeplers claiming they are legit? Nah. I'll give them a pass on this one but man was that shocking.
Why don't we give Hassan, Klosterhalfen, Obiri, McColgan, Krumins, and Rowbury a pass? You're just in love with Coburn.
Listen, no one fast runs the steeple at these levels, the are all in the 1500-10,000m... this is the reason why Ayana, who was the World Junior SC Champion, left the steeple - no competition.
Just take it for what it is.
Why aren't you moderating these boards? Is this going to become the un-moderated safe haven for Nazi's and hate speech?
You got to give them a break. It is hard to come back after the race of your life like that. Still, even if they ran with the same determination in a flat 3k, I can't see Emma or Courtney going any faster than what Rowbury ran .
Guliyev reaffirms he's #1 in the 200. Easy win.
Elaine Thompson's only loss at 100m the last 2 years was the London final.

Phil Jones lovefest right now. Seems like a nice guy.
