Serious question...I've never been in any kind of actual fight before and just started wondering what I would do if I ever got into one. I'm 6'0" 160lbs and decently strong, but I feel like weight would be more of an advantage than strength. What do you do to get the upper hand? Throw rapid punches or hard ones? Take it to the ground? Go for your opponent's neck, stomach, nose...?
The best way to win a fight is not to be in one. Even if you win, you could lose in many ways...loser seeks retribution, reputation, legal repercussions, etc.
However, if you're in a fight...i mean a legitimate street fight...go for vital areas...fish hook eyes or mouth, kick groin, etc. Don't play "fair".
And one of the best bits of advice I ever heard about a fight was from Kevin Nash, pro wrestler, on some podcast: he said something like "there are two types of people in a street fight. there's the guy who will crawl under the car to keep from being kicked or stomped then there's the guy who will break his own leg off at the knee cap trying to kick or stomp the guy under the car. and it helps winning a fight, if you can convince the other guy early on that you're the second guy."
