It's hard to even watch knowing that they are so drugged. I wish I could just stick my head in the sand and enjoy this bs.

U.S. runners already out of medal contention.
I don't think they'll be in medal contention any time soon.

If by this you mean: "Should Rowbury have skipped the 5k at USAs?" then yes, she should have.
If you mean something else, well, she did really end up with a choice, did she?
No way ...Ayana is not a kicker. The blue print was laid in rio
obiri- faith- vivian ...are some stronggggggggggggg runners with intelligence.
Obiri is a beast! Queen of 5000m
Ayana wasn't able to do enough, Ayana got destroyed in the last 300m, Hassan new PB for bronze. Last 3k in 8:26, last kilometer in 2:44, last lap in 60 seconds.
What a race, Both of those girls are capable of the WR. I really hope one of them, or maybe both go for it at the diamond league final.
Of note, the last 4k of that race was run in 11:16, which is 14:05 pace!
Great runs by Hassan and Muir coming back from the 1500m
Hassan 3rd close to her PR of 14:41 and Muir 6th
Hassan saved the day for NOP I guess
Not too bad a crack at it by Laura Muir but not able to keep up with Hassan in the fight for bronze. Looked better at the finish than in her heat.

Yes, she never had a chance in this race. I guess she figured she could still qualify for the 1500 even after running the 5K at the trials, but clearly a miscalculation.
What did Ayana run her last 5000m in a week ago? I think the announcers said 14:25, but I might have misheard.
Looks like Sifan had the fastest last K in 2:42 and Muir closing in a not too shabby 2:46.
1500 m starts in half an hour.
also quite astonishing that Hassan finished only two seconds behind Ayana
over to BBC One now

Really? They were 10 seconds out at 1k to go.
Prediction: Niyonsaba pushes the pace in this 800m, Semenya takes over with 200m left and holds it to the line, Wilson beats Niyonsaba in the last 100m
Semenya run 1:54, Wilson wins 1:54 AM.
What has happened to men's high jump? Only five left after 2.29?
Open 800 up next.
The high jump is interesting. Shaping up to be easy for Barshim, but Lyshenko is young at 20 at despite having a PB of 2.34 could improve a lot more.

Yes, correct.

Once it got to 1200m. It was over. No way ayana was going to have any speed or kick from that point.
I respect what ayana does, and she is great, but how are you an ethiopian runner with no kick? Her Schtick is up. Either she settles with just being a beast at 10000m ,or she works on developing some type of kick.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
