21 year old male from the UK. I am in the middle of base building (racing in winter) and I want to build up endurance (I'm doing this by going from 25MPW to 40MPW).
I do parkour with friends about twice a week, would all the anaerobic work involved in it destroy endurance gains?

Hey, bud. I'm not experienced in parkour, but I'll try to give a serious answer just so you have at least one.
I don't know how long or intense a parkour session would be, but if anything, I suspect that heavy endurance training would hamper your parkour performance more so than the reverse. If you want peak performance in either, then specialization of training is, of course, preferable.
How much do you care about getting in peak running shape, as opposed to just living your life and having fun? Unless you have particularly ambitious goals for your running, I doubt the parkour would be a problem. 40mpw is low enough that you'll still have plenty of time and energy for other activities.

I'm in 20:30 min 5k shape looking to get down to about 17-18 within a year so nothing too serious, I'm just looking to get fitter overall and maybe win a few age group prizes. I'd say that right now I'm more interested in hitting my running goals to be honest.
A few years ago I used to do parkour daily but I became fat, did the whole drinking and smoking too much in college thing and took a few years off and have only recently just got back into it. I'd say that right now I'm doing about 90 minutes worth of it a week.
Yeah, I think a 17-18 minute 5k should be achievable even with the parkour. The only thing I'd worry about is straining something if you do parkour while seriously fatigued from running.
