Thanks for the info. With the channel reaching 35 million homes and not on Time Warner and a bunch of other major distributors at all I made the assumption it was on most of the basic tiers. On the conference call, the NBC people gave the impression to me more cable companies needed to pick it up.
The crazy thing is Comcast own NBC and thus the Olympic channel yet.
Yeah, the press release states that "will launch in more than 35 million homes" but that doesn't mean that all 35 million get it in something you consider a basic package. For example, in my large city, the Digital Starter has about 116 channels, plenty for me, but not the Olympic Channel. As posted earlier, that was placed in a higher tier.
