Interviews are being conducted this week. As much as I would love to believe Joe Lynn is the the new HC, it isn't the case. It was some troll that thought he was funny.
Can you all shutup about some half-rate college program from the craphole of America. You're clogging up the page with these irrelevant B.S.
Thanks........
Wow..... someone's salty that they aren't living in their glory days of college in which they barely broke 4:25 at a irrevelent Division III schoool which anyone with any ounce of atheltic talent could run at if he wanted to. Sorry but keep the bad vibes out of here and go for a run to get that pent up energy out of your system.
Background on why you are right...
They are in fact conducting interviews this week with the potential coaches.
Source: Former SA and in communication with people involved in the hiring process. As far as I was aware, Joe Lynn hadn't even applied. I wasn't disclosed who the outside applicants were however, so take that as you will.
Checked out the Louisville results. What happened to red shirting everyone to have an awesome season this year? The men appear to be absolutely terrible.

It can't be that bad of a program if the 2017 Division 1 State Champion in Michigan decided to go there....
Surprising. I'm from Michigan. If you had offers, Central is maybe the sixth place you'd go if staying in-state.
Mostly correct, but you're wrong about East Lansing. MSU in in EL, not Lansing, which, yes, is crap.

Yeah...it's all pretty much sh!t there. MSU is an OK school.....but.....
East Lansing - Typical College town USA. Grand River is constantly changing with new shit coming in and old shit leaving. Vibe is always the same.
Lansing - So depressing. Will never see the revitalization that everyone talks about because no company worth their nutsack wants to drop headquarters there. Downtown is overhyped and stale on the weekends.
Okemos - Where all the supposed "wealthy" live. LOL. Again, boring as shit and if you want to see really "wealthy" come on down to Oakland County and cruise through Bloomfield Hills or Birmingham or Gross Pointe where there is serious $$. Not this poser McMansion sh!t.
Haslett - Like I said earlier, Lake Lansing. That is all.
Williamston, Mason - Anywhere, USA.
Grand Ledge - OK, I can get behind this town. Feels like more a West Michigan town to me. Still though...too close to Lansing.
Dansville/Leslie/Holt - Are you f__king kidding me?
Anything north of DeWitt is that deadzone that nobody gives a sh!t about. Things only get cool when you hit Traverse, Petoskey, Mackinaw, Charlevoix, Marquette, Grand Marais.
The rest is the pits.

I wouldn't say they are absolutely terrible
Kleam (FR) 24:38
Beckmann (SO) 25:13
Anderson (SO) 25:14
Naughton (FR) 25:20
Stimpfel (SO) 25:33
Easterns men are pretty well established and far ahead. What teams are "shining" besides them? Central will be top 3, could be top 2, which coming from last year, which they were absolutely terrible, is pretty darn good, especially since you have 3 sophomores, 2 freshman, and STILL more talent redshirtted.
Akron looks meh, Buffalo looks meh, Ohio meh, Miami Ohio meh and the rest are laughable if you suggest they could contend (BGSU, Kent State, Toledo).
Course ran pretty fast, they got 18th and had no impressive placers. Got beat by Oakland and absolutely owned by GV.
Jerry Baltes D1 bound?

Why? He makes a ton at GV and has way better facilities and places high every year. He's set. They support him there, CMU is a shell of a program compared to GV. Will take more than a great coach to get things to that level at CMU.
Where were they this weekend? Again, terrible result. Not even good enough to beat conference rival Miami.
What is your beef with CMU?

I'd assume they are either a disgruntled alum or family of an alum. Either way, if CMU doesn't win nationals by perfect scoring the meet, Indoor will be there to voice their displeasure.
3 kids under 25, 1 freshman 2 sophomores, and still their top 5 is either freshman or sophomores. That's a step in the right direction. Yes, Louisville is a fast course. I've personally never run a bad time there and it's hard not to get a spectacular time. My freshman year, we had 4 under 25 on a rainy day and ended up 2nd at MACs, losing to Eastern by 10 pts. Overall, they didn't do very well as a team, but continued to show promise with consistent prs and development. If they can get a 5th to be low 25s then they will be top 3 at MACs. I'd expect Logan to be all-mac and outside shot of Luke and Mark being all mac as well. Eastern will have 5 - 7 in the top 15, so you have around 7 - 9 spots open for grabs between the rest of the teams. CMU could be 2nd if they run out of their minds or be 6th if they run shitty.
Rome wasn't built in a day and a program doesn't go from worst in the MAC to winning it out right in one year (usually). They have 2 more years of these exact kids making up the top 5, not counting any recruits or transfers or redshirts they have this year. If you're actually an alum, how about you show some encouragement or at least some compassion and patience. If you're not an alum, you really need to do something else with your free time.
It always seems to be the same person or two bringing up CMU every so often and completely trashing the program. What is your axe to grind? Move on with your life.
Ok... I apologize for beefing with you earlier. They did not do well at conferences and I have absolutely nothing I can defend.
Thank you.
