Is this girl the next great American distance runner? Too early to tell? 4:18 at the NY state meet today is pretty crazy... also she looks like Jordan Hasay

I race in the same section as Tuohy, and she is very talented. She comes from North Rockland, which has recently been one of the top teams in the county at NXN (didn't qualify this year but it was an exception - Tuohy went individually). They have a good coach, which seems promising. We can only wait and see what will come of her.

and what will become of you.
I feel confident predicting she'll be the next great American distance runner. Crazy seeing a thread saying a freshman is gonna become one of the greats and it coming true.
Her fans tell us she has improved. Monson was running 5:18 as a freshman. Tuohy has improved like 12 seconds over 6 years. Elite Americans were on steep improvement curves. Why does that fact anger the Tuohy crazies.
