And why, why, why does NBC refuse to put field event results in metric?! Is it that hard to just do both?!

He;s better than they are at 1500m. And he's better than they are at 10000m.
So why shouldn't he win every time at 5000m, if something funky doesn't happen?
He's the best, that's it.
Masters, Korir and Sambu rabbitting
Masters out in sub-60 (59.2!) Farah in midle of the pack. It’s almost single file.
Kamworor is the first racer in fourth
Slows to 2:02 at 800 for Masters. Ryan Hill already off the back of the pack.
2:32 at 1k
63.4 on Masters’ third lap.
4:10/4:11 at 1600 Chelimo also up near the front.
Farah now moving up a bit at 2k. Closer to the front, but still in ninth
2:38.2 second K
Farah moving up again on backstretch before 2400. Farah throws his arms up to crowd to get them to cheer. And they do! They respond immediately and he’s now in second behind Korir.
But a lap later, he’s back fifth but still near front.
7:51.39 at 3k. Rabbit was supposed to run 7:45
Farah now in second behind Kamworor as the rabbits are done.
64.8 lap from 2800 to 3200 as it slows a bit. Kamworor has to push it and drop some guys.
824 at 3200
8:56.0 with 1600 to go
With 3 to go, it’s still Kamworor leading with farah in second. Several other guys still up there too. (8 in total, with a bunch more not far behind).
63.7 from 3600 to 4000.
Farah goes by with 800 to go, kejelcha on his shoulder. Cheptegei and one more still up there.
Farah, kejelcha and ndiku? Are right there with 1 to go.
Kejelcha fights for lead but can’t get it. Still farah.
Rop battling farah for lead but cna’t go by.
Then kejeclah attacks with 230 to go but still farah in lead.

Was Ahmed born in Africa? I think so.
So Butchart wins top non african born honors.
Mo is the master at tactical running. He is just mentally on a whole different level. Only EL G, Bekele, Kipchoge and Haile would beat him at 5,000 and 10,000 meters. These runners just don't have the speed or mental ability to deal with him.
They let him run his race all the time....You gotta get out in front of him and make him work. I have yet to see anyone do that yet
Master L-MO!
BTW, NBC sucks...like really sucks. The should just let the english do it like they do with soccer.
Who should our disgust with the coverage be directed at via twitter? @NBCSports?
Just looking at that composure 1st time or 💯 th time, amazing
Then 75meters to go match strength pull away...Mo happens to be a miler who made his living at track distance.
And Yep it's a Cool Story Bro, also Discus
Patrick MFin Tiernan, 13:13 in the heat and wind, no Palo Alto. He would have smoked Ed Chez at Natty's!

Mmm hmm. This is where I sometimes wish we had some teams in running. Let the field go out slow, and send someone else up ahead while you're going slow. Force Mo to close that gap and just sit on him.
Just one example. It's hard to beat a guy like Mo, and really nobody can individually but as a team they would have an outside shot.
After how easy Farah made that look, you're crazy if you don't think he's in at least 12:45 shape. He was just tuanting Kijelcha up until 100m to go.
Will Claye jumped 17.82, Hayward field record.

Never mind Taylor responded with a 18.11
The Knowledgeable Fans respect the Historic Hayward Field record
What happened to Palsyte in the HJ? Has she opened yet? She cleared 2+ m indoors
Will Farah run a 10000 before world's this year? With no pre classic where would he and the Kenyans/Ethiopians go to run fast.
Claye and Taylor are both looking like they could scare Jonathan Edwards' WR on their last attempt

Probably not
McLeod keeps his win streak alive.
Devon Allen with a nice run. And I just verified he did have reconstructive surgery this fall. His 2nd one. I can't believe he is back running like this so quickly.
After his first surgery he missed the entire 2015 track season. Can't believe he got back so quickly for this one.

Is there any kind of live results page available? For all other Diamond League meets IAAF pages have been good, but for some reason for this meet the results are anything but live.

Yes! Go Aussie!
Claye jumped 18.05, which is the farthest second place jump ever.
