Why would it be illegal?
After watching Kipchoge do al ight jog of 14:14 5k's it seems really fail watching people do 14:26 and it look like a all out sprint.

Thoughts:
Elaine has no weaknesses. However, I found it odd that Evelyn Ashford's world record was 10.76, 33 years ago. And only 3 or 4 of the top female 100 meter sprinters can run 10.7, and they don't do it consistently....And flo jo was 10.59 ( we all know was juiced), so why haven't the women in this day age progressed?
- Rudisha is slowly rounding into form, a little test run for him to see where he is at. He lost Shanghai last as well, just testing the waters..He seems to be on target as usual.
- Obiri's season has been insane, great indoor wins, and now she it is carrying it over to the outdoor season. She is the fastest in the world this year at 5ooom. I don't think Almaz getting the win 5000m WC is a lock, considering her running strategy is more suited for 10000m.
Faith looks strong, and is still rounding into form. But other than her, I don't see anyone being a threat to dibaba, and that includes Hassan....Hopefully, we will get to see faith, dibaba, hassan, Muir, Rowbury, and simpson face off before the WC.

When was the last time you saw a college athlete across the world pacing a Diamond League event? Just seemed weird to me.
Let's not forget by Vivian Cherioyut's on admission she thought Almaz was untouchable in the 5000m after Almaz's 10000m WR Gold. Helen pepped talked Vivian BEFORE and DURING the 5000m saying, we just have to stay close.
Helen is supremely confident but do she have what it takes to threaten if the race is super fast 14:12 - 15 like Genezebe and Almaz will be running soon?
