Did you read the OP? Carefully!
You're a bigot. Even though OP runs in the male division doesn't imply which gender she or he identifies as.

Alright guys, just gonna clarify things a little. I am a male, and I identify as a male. I do have a penis and I intend to keep it. I ended up shaving the legs, and they feel pretty good. Kinda funny, but in a good way. I feel like tomorrow is gonna be special.
If you want to shave just do it. It has nothing to do with your running and all about walking "...and the colored girls sing do--do--do--..."
Ps. Good luck tomorrow; feel the burn!

Its mainly for massage and any athlete getting frequent leg work should shave. Its impossible to get proper massage with a jungle on your legs.
Secondary reason is road rash clean up is far easier with no matted hair in it. Less risk of infection too maybe. Not a factor in running of course.
Triathletes have the added need for the swim although even in a half wetsuit its not really a factor. But in a speedo it is.
Yes it must be lovely massaging shaves stubble.
Cyclists do it for asthetic purposes. They also think walking in a bar with Lycra padded like they are wearing a nappy is a good look. Still you need to get property kitted out for the 2 mile commute
I wish I could get my hot French girlfriend to do a little trimming and grooming. I turn on the shower for her in the a.m. and leave coupons for Nair and free Brazilian bikini waxes on her bureau, but no use.

Cyclists do it for aero benefits.

The only thing that matters is if your boyfriend likes it better when you shave you legs. Does he?
