Are you kidding? Do you think the big shoe brands care about character? Brooks may but Nike doesn't. Ever heard of Tiger Woods? Michael Jordan? Those guys certainly were immoral all the time and the swoosh paid them tens of millions.

Knowing something about HR, this sounds like talking around someone having issues with drinking/partying but the employer not wanting to hang the dismissal on those grounds. (Risk of libel, implication of employer duty to provide support, etc.)

Call me crazy but it sounds like they want to keep people from jumping to a reasonable conclusion of it being drug or alcohol related because it's not.

both parts agreed to emphasize it was not dugs related so cas can still get a sponsor after all is said and done. sounds like a gentleman's agreement.

Flanagan wasn't with Schumacher when she got her silver. She was with him when she got her bronze at World Cross in 2011.

Yeah, the WOW video showed Cas running around 24-25 seconds.

Here is what happens in the elite circles. Nike gets pissed when they don't win everything. They try to manipulate athletes, coaches, and other brands.

Nike has been using this board for years to help manipulate their ways.

1. They attack Danny because he is making an impact.

2. They attack Cas because he has taken some of their spotlight.

3. They attack Hansons because they are a threat

4. They attack Desiree Linden because she has taken their spotlight.

5. They attack Kara because she has exposed them.

6. They attack Wejo and Rojo because they don't shy away from the drug issue.

All of these attacks are unwarranted and involve made up facts (fake news) but if they flood the boards with these ideas many people will believe it.

Rojo and Wejo are simply repeating what every single elite athlete has heard a million times when it comes to drug use.

They attack Desiree because unlike Shalane, Amy, and Joannie, she doesn't wear Nike.

They attack Cas Loxom because people pay attention to him and that takes away from their brand.

They attack Hanson and Mackey because they are producing results that put a minor dent in their World domination.
