What work to rest ratio workout have you seen to work well for your high school runners?
attributes: In season, 2nd hs yr runner, ran in middle school
1:52-1:57 800 guys with 9:30 3200m strength.
We have done stuff like this.
3 workout secrets-
All out 1-3 times a month 4x400,4x200 with maximal rest.
24x200's with jog across field every 4th all out others at pace usally 1600 pace
2x800,2x600,1x400->200 AO. Short Rest between 400 & 200
