"phony", wadaya mean?
Running between 100 to 120 miles a week, training is going well.
On 5th November 2016 Dave Run 36 miles from Sportlink Running and Fitness Store Halesworth Suffolk to
Sportlink Running and Fitness Store Taverham Norfolk, he completed this run in under 6 hours! In the wind, rain and bitter cold. On 3rd February Dave also run from Norwich to London, this was 6 marathons in 48 hours! He's 13 year old son George rode along side him on he's bike and he also had vehicle support from Joe Woodley, and photographs taken by Mark Hewlett Photography.
http://www.lejogrun2017.co.uk/aboutHe has a lot of kids.
He needs to run 93 miles per day for 9 days to break the record.
They could do it as a Brit Family Ragnar Relay.
Why are Brit ULTRARUNNERS so slow + inflexible…and DELUSIONAL???
Look at him run on a treadmill in these "news" videos. Doesn't look like an experienced running gait for me, at all. And his cadence is pretty slow and not enough lift. And he is still visibly flabby with the man tits and gut. Not something you expect from someone doing 100-120 miles in training a week and a 3:12 Marathon PR.
Funny how with all these 'Potentially Suspicious Runner' type threads that when you start digging there's always a putrid vapid smell wafting up from the dark dank sullied soil. Doesn't seem to happen with legit runners.

I wonder what Mo Farah, Dave Reading's ultimate idol, thinks of this. Reading ran with Farah at a track for done kind of event, so Reading must have a clue what an elite runner looks like. Maybe he forgot to ask for tips on performance enhancers.
Taking a closer look at Dave Reading's fundraising page, I noticed something really odd. For the number of sponsors he has and having promoted this run for a year on the telly, RAF, schools, social media, and other promotions, how is it that he only has £1477.72 raised total? That amount includes both the online and offline amounts. That page shows:
Running total: £1,477.72
Target:£10,000.00
Total raised incl. Gift Aid:£1,532.72
Total donors:17
Offline fundraising:£1,127.72
So the vast majority of the money he is getting appears to be from offline sources that have no trail we can track. For the small amount from the online ones, if you read the comments at the bottom of the page you will see it is from his family and friends (and RV driver) with the one or two odd strangers.
This just doesn't make sense to me for someone that has such splashy gear, professional webpage, sponsorships, and mainstream British media following. How could the amount in "charity" be so seemingly small compared to what he is getting?

Meet team scammer. He has loads of videos on here but hardly any views!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etWJeNtxJLwIf you want a good laugh and further confirmation that he is faking it, take a look at some of his Norwich to London videos on his YouTube channel that have single digits views. He always looks fresh as a daisy without any sweat or signs of blood pumping in his videos after "completing" his runs, despite Norwich to London being at least a 118 mile run. And there are no videos of him actually running in those videos. This seals the deal for me, he is a scammer.

Yeh, this one has THREE views! I note he has a Walking with the Wounded bucket - a fine legit charity with a scamming liar ruining their name.
I have messaged them a link to this thread.

NO views on this video! I was the first! He's WALKING along claiming he's RUNNING 118 miles non stop - yeah right - - -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgv1QVZblQwI knew he was fake when I found out he was a Brit ULTRARUNNER.
All of these MEN are slow, inflexible, pathetic and stupid humans.
However, I do like his PTSD…because I have PTSD…and have raised money during my Appalachian Trail Fastest Known Time Record Hike last summer for my "Yoga for PTSD Extensive Emotional Problems (PEEP® YOGA™) Center where all PEEP® people will come to heal.
Is there any way I can get some of David's money for my Center?
I want David's PTSD money for my PEEP® YOGA™ HEALING CENTER.

Yeah but, it was in 48 hours according to the 'About' part of his website, which is only 3 miles per hour if you knock off 8 hours rest time, 3x40=120, FMD that's even slow walking pace and this idiot reckons he's going for the LEJOG world record by doing 100 miles a day. Also, somehow he equated Norwich to London (118 miles) as being equal to 6 marathons, 26x6=156, just more bullshit.
"On 3rd February Dave also run from Norwich to London, this was 6 marathons in 48 hours!"
Amazing how these idiots think everyone else is an idiot and not smarter enough to catch them out.
http://www.lejogrun2017.co.uk/Even if he couldn't go the most direct route 6 marathons i.e. 156 miles still only equates to a walking pace of 3.9 miles per hour over 40 hours if you generously give him 8 hours non running break half way. Hardly world record stuff for running 100 miles a day for 8 days.
Oh boy.
In the Brit article about the 837 mile EPIC journey.
The world record attempt is equivalent to 33 marathons and Mr Reading needs to cover 100 miles a day in 20 hour periods to break the record.
http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/ex_serviceman_attempting_to_run_from_land_s_end_to_john_o_groats_in_world_record_time_after_being_inspired_by_olympic_champion_sir_mo_farah_1_4953508Really Brits??????????????????????????????????????????
837 miles divided by 26.2 miles per marathon =
31.95 marathons (which could be rounded up to 32 marathons).
Brit Answer in the Eastern Daily Press =
33 marathons
WTF????????????
These Brits have tiny wee brains.
This is absolutely PATHETIC.
This reminds me of the PATHETIC math, spelling, writing, editing, and cognitive function that is on display in articles at LetsRun.com.
