Ran 4:37 in the 1600 last week and I have a 3200m race in three days. What should I go out in for the first mile and what time should I go for (indoors on a 160m track). Not a very competitive race so I will likely be out in front on my own.

Sub 10 if you have average speed and endurance, but it might be hard if you have little competition. I would say you take the first mile out in 4:57-58, but it depends on how you like to run.
