Better question is what was your first 200m? did you go out in a 24 or was it even? In my opinion that might be something to look into because if you went something like 24-29 that might have a bigger impact than your overall first 400 time.

I think there is a huge difference between 1:50 and 1:52.
I think with better pacing the OP could hope for 1:53 at best, he died pretty bad, suggesting he doesn't have the endurance to run much faster.
1:50 is a different ball game. If the OP went out in 53 he should be able to finish the race in 1:50. It's a perfectly reasonable first lap.
