Yes, it's not that hard. Wouldn't be a great time, but all you have to do is keep running. I could run 100 miles with no training. It's more mental than physical.
The guy looks like he gets to the gym or plays some pick up basketball every now and then. So jogging a 4:30-5 hour marathon is not out of the question.
I like that his shirt looked as fresh when he stopped as when he started. Even though it was sunny enough that he needed sunscreen. Also check out his hat, that would have been sweaty too, even my wife's hat gets sweaty - in winter! And, even if we forget that he ran a marathon in the sun without sweating, his nipples would have been a bloody mess and the white top would have been bloody.
Only someone who has never ran would believe that that guy ran a marathon in that outfit without sweating or chafing.
They are in San Diego. That means it was probably @ 60 degrees by the water. He should have been drenched with all that clothing on.
Also, I wonder what was meant by "no training". If that meant never ran a mile, then there is no way. If that meant runs 3-5 miles every other day, then that is a different story. Once you get over the initial hump and can run for an hour straight, you can jog out a marathon like this guy if you are a mildly athletic person. No big deal.
No, you can't
im assuming many people do. How else do you finish in 6+ hours?
converting his Marathon time to 1500m under 100 mpw and he would be capable of 3'23"81.
Ummm, did you see the part where that girl was literally walking next to him while he "ran". At that pace, of course he could finish the marathon.

Barney Stinson ran the NYC marathon with only one day's notice and no running prior.
My twin brother ran his first marathon with out any training, he just signed up and ran it.
